The Annual Van Gogh Gala: Midnight at the Met -

An unforgettable evening where "haunt" couture meets haunting intrigue, extraordinary costumer, and living masterpieces. Inspired by the grandeur of New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art and the mystery of All Hallows' Eve, guests will step into a candlelit museum after hours where black-tie elegance, gothic glamour, and immersive artistic experiences await around every corner.
Become part of the exhibition by arriving in imaginative attire inspired by iconic works of art, celebrated artists, mythology, sculpture, fashion, or fantasy.
Throughout the evening, enjoy exquisite cuisine, signature cocktails, live entertainment, silent and live auctions, and unexpected encounters that celebrate creativity, imagination, and the transformative power of
the arts.
More than a spectacular Halloween soirée, the Van Gogh Gala is River Oaks Square Arts Center's premier annual fundraiser, supporting vear-round exhibitions, educational programming. artist residencies, community outreach, and Summer Arts Studio. This October, dare to stay after closing... because at Midnight at the Met, the galleries never truly sleep.

🎄 Annual Christmas Porch Sale 🎄

River Oaks Square Arts Center is pleased to announce the return of one of its most cherished community traditions—the Annual Christmas Porch Sale, taking place Saturday, December 5, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. This highly anticipated event will feature original works from more than 100 regional artists and fine craftsmen, offering visitors a unique opportunity to shop locally for distinctive, handcrafted holiday gifts.

The Porch Sale coincides with Alex WinterFête, creating an enhanced seasonal experience filled with art, live entertainment, and festive fun. Guests are invited to enjoy Diamond Grill’s signature gumbo served on-site from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM, adding a delicious local flavor to the day’s activities.

“This event is truly a celebration of community, creativity, and local talent,” says Rachael Dauzat, Executive Director of River Oaks Square Arts Center. “It’s the perfect way to begin the holiday season while supporting the artists who make our region vibrant.”

In preparation for the event, the Arts Center will be closed to the public on Friday, December 4.

River Oaks Square Arts Center invites the community to join them on Saturday, December 5, for one of Central Louisiana’s most unique and beloved holiday shopping experiences.
